Hi, I’m carly christensen.

I’m a proud mother of three children; a son and twin daughters. The experience of giving birth to healthy twins, only to have one of them unexpectedly develop a fatal intestinal disease at two weeks old, lead me to where I am today. Through researching Necrotizing Enterocolitis I discovered a deep interest for how the gut impacts whole-body health. I have become passionate about using food as medicine and supporting the body’s amazing ability to heal.

I chose the name “Nourri” as a tribute to my daughter. Her name is Paris Brigitte in honor of her French grandmother. Learning to speak French has become a hobby of mine over the years. So, I decided on “nourri” which is a verb meaning “nourished”.

I graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and also completed a MSA practitioner program for bioenergetic testing. I am currently continuing my studies in functional nutrition through The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, along with many advanced training lectures, seminars and courses in the functional medicine category.

Along with raising two awesome kids, I have two unique cats (am I a cat lady!?), enjoy gardening, find herbology fascinating, am still practicing to parle français, love to be in nature - especially if it’s near the ocean and I love to try new recipes!

“The doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.” - Thomas A. Edison

I am so happy you’re interested in learning more about how to take charge of your health! It’s important to me to help empower you with the knowledge and tools to feel your best. I can’t wait to get to know you!

It’s my personal goal to live to be 102! Not only do I want to live that long, but I want to be mentally sharp and physically able to enjoy adventures with my family. I plan to be part of my children’s, grandchildren’s and GREAT-grandchildren’s lives! Leading by example, I hope to leave behind a legacy on how prioritizing your own health can create a ripple effect within your family and community.
