About Me

Hello! My name is Carly and I am so happy you're interested in your own health and wellness! It's so important to me to help empower you with the knowledge and tools to feel your best.

I can't wait to get to know you!

It's my personal goal to live to be 102! Not only do I want to live that long, I want to be mentally sharp and physically able to enjoy adventures with my family and to be part of my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives. It's important to me to leave behind a legacy and an example of how prioritizing your own health can create a ripple effect within your family and community.

I am a proud mother of three children; a son and twin daughters. One of my daughters, named Paris, had an important mission in her short time here. She lived for 15 days before suddenly and unexpectedly passing away from a devastating intestinal disease called Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Through researching her disease and joining a group of other moms with similar stories, I've been able to educate NICU parents on the early signs and symptoms of NEC to help preemies have better outcomes. Through my research it ultimately started me down the path to discovering my passion for learning how the human body functions. I developed an insatiable interest for natural health, using food as medicine and supporting the body's amazing ability to heal.

Paris was given her name as a tribute to her French grandmother and learning French became a hobby of mine. It is how I chose the name “Nourri”, meaning “nourished”. To me, it brings everything full circle to honor the life of my daughter.

Outside of being a mom, I have had careers in marketing, real estate and custom exhibit designing. When an opportunity came to make a life-pivot and go back to school to pursue my passion for nutrition and health, I jumped on it! I graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, with an Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certificate. I also completed a MSA practitioner program for bioenergetic testing. I am currently continuing my studies in functional nutrition through The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

I’ve transformed my own life in some very big ways including divorce, navigating “life-after-child-loss”, fully embracing single-motherhood in all of it's glory, grit and responsibilities, the risk and reward of changing careers, prioritizing continuing education and even making major lifestyle and nutrition changes to help my body heal from cancer.

Through all of this, here's what I've come to really know: your life circumstances (health, stress, environment, support system, etc.) greatly affect your nutrition choices. On the flip side, your nutrition choices greatly impact your health, quality of life and your mental wellness. It's all connected. I am honored to teach you a mini version of my intense trainings - all of the pieces that you need for your unique situation - to give you a diverse set of health-tools that will last a lifetime!

Life will always bring unexpected things - you can count on it! So, in my opinion, the key to health and happiness is being able to adapt, willing to learn new things and don't forget to laugh - or to eat your veggies! ;-)

xo, Carly
